Colorless

Moody Monday’s theme for this Monday was ‘colorless’. My first idea as response to this challenge was a shot through the waterfall, but I already used it on Nov 8, 2007 as Transparent in Photo Theme for Thursday. Then I went through my images about ice sculptures (best one that I found was photograph from Thailand that was taken in 2003. After some more thinking, I came up with the chosen photograph, which was taken in Kiiskilampi, Hyvinkää, Finland (April, 2005). On previous evening, the pond had been open water, but during the night temperature had falled below freezing point and we had nice thin layer of ice on it in the morning.
