Hiking in Lapland

Tales from trails about sights and campsites

Fiellu Waterfall (week 36/07)

Sep 16th, 2007 by Juha Ylitalo

Fiellu waterfall

Fiellu is pretty much midpoint of Kevo hiking trail, which is 63km long. Waterfall is 26 meters high and looks quite magnificent after you’ve hiked two or three days to get there. From here water flows to Kevo Canyon, which is deepest canyon in Finland.

More information: Kevo Trail (+Guivi) (1-8.9.2007)

Technical details: Canon EOS 20D & Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM (17mm, 1s, f/22, ISO100)
