Common Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus)
Feb 14th, 2008 by Juha Ylitalo
This week’s topic in Photo theme for Thursday was ‘FOOD (Cooking, Ingredients, Vegetables, Fruit, Meat, Dairy, Restaurants,…)’. This ingredient is still alive, but Common Pheasant is generally considered to be game bird. Wikipedia even uses such phases as “one of the world’s most hunted birds”. As such many of them are shot each year and their meat is prepared for food.

Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting on the photograph of the train, bridge and reflection. Was I surprised when I followed you back here and saw another train. So, I am not the only train person in Entrecard!

Nice photos of a pheasant. They look so colorful and innocent. It makes it hard to eat them know.
