Hietaniemi
Jul 21st, 2008 by Juha Ylitalo
My bicycle route to work goes right next to Hietaniemi cemetary, but it wasn’t until couple weeks ago, when I realised that I should try to take advantage of this fascinating area. At first, I was hoping to get great captures about small birds, rabbits and such. I was able to take couple photographs about those, but as I walked around in there, I became fascinated about all the old tombstones in cemetary and decided to start to switch from tele lenses to something wider. As I moved to wider lenses, I came to realise that it would make good location to experiment strobist (off camera flash) things. If you got interested about what I am talking about, check my new photo album about Hietaniemi cemetary and beach.
