Maaninkajoki in Karhunkierros

Maaninkajoki is small river that you will see, if you hike along Karhunkierros hiking trail from Ristikallio to Taivalköngäs in Kuusamo. While the river is small, I think one could get all kind of interesting photographs from water, rock formations, etc., if you have time to stop and spend sometime on site. Unfortunately, this is purely speculation as I was far too busy to hike for next big thing, when I visited these places in year 2005. One thing that should be kept in mind is that my visit to Maaninkajoki happened on June. At fall, there might be whole lot less water and as a result from that sight might lose part of its charm.
