Lavish landscapes in Iceland

Nov 12th, 2007 by Juha Ylitalo

Land of fairy tales

One approach for this week’s challenge would have been to come up with photograph that has wheat field in it or something else related to the food, but at the end I wanted to use this image from Iceland. This scenary made me understood, why some people refer to Iceland as land of Sagas.

Technical details: Canon PowerShot G3 (11.2mm, 1/80s, f/5.6, ISO50)
Location: Thingvellir National Park, Iceland

Somehow bare and somehow full of everything. Green and colourless. Lot of space to smell, see and touch. I suppose, nice place to wander and relax. Good advertisement for the place!
