Juha Ylitalo

As some of you might have noticed from location bar in your browser, this blog has taken giant leap in a sense that it now has its very own domain. In past, URL used to be http://www.ylitalot.net/en/, but I finally decided that each one of my three blogs deserves to have its very own hostname and as a result, I ended up getting ylitalot.com in addition to my own ylitalot.net domain.
While this new domain name selection wasn’t base on any scientific research (about keyword usage, etc.), it gives me nice separation between different activities. I can now put all my finnish material into subdomains under ylitalot.net domain and english (as well as purely commercial) material into ylitalot.com domain. This way I can also keep my very first domain up and running and avoid all discussion on whether or not dom com is the only sensible top level domain to choose from.
