Lingonberry is small evergreen shrum that bears editable fruit. You can find them from everywhere in Finland, but Lapland has so far been only place, where I’ve found out lingonberries with red leaves. Based on what I’ve been able to find out, it is some sort of stress reaction, but I haven’t yet found what is causing this stress reaction.
