Pets

This week’s topic in Photo theme for Thursday is Pets. When I was trying to think, what kind of animal pictures I would be able to use in this challenge, I finally decided that it has to be animal that lives in peoples homes. I have couple pictures from friends dog, but since they aren’t mine and this meme probably has quite many dog owners, I kind of lost my interest to photographs about dogs. At the end, I decided to pick photograph that was taken in small village in Peru. People were raising guinea pigs in their homes. I would assume that they are used as pets, while they are small, even though they will eventually be used for making food (or so I’ve been told).

I think those are guinea pigs.
Interesting picture, though.
After little bit thinking, I have to agree with you that they are guinea pigs (earlier, I claimed that they are hamsters). Thankfully both hamsters and guinea pigs are pets.
