Silly

This week’s topic in ‘Photo theme for Thursday’ is ‘SILLY (Silly Smiles, Crazy Laughter, Silly Behavior, Illogical Signs and Other Silly Things, Funny Toys,…)’. While I am pretty certain that all serious skijumpers would disagree with me, I am going to claim that skijumping in May, when all snow has already melted away, looks silly. Yes, there is something fascinating to watch how those skijumpers fly, but at the sametime it looks silly.
Photograph was taken in May 21, 2006 in Helsinki. There were some young boys jumping in small “hill”, little bit older boys and seniors (35+ years) were competing in bigger “hill”. This photograph was taken near the ramp from seniors competition. You can see some of the young boys and other viewers sitting on a fence in background.
