Fragile

Cherry flowers (Purgus sargentii)

This week’s theme in Photo Friday is fragile. Fragile as a word brings up three images to my mind: glass, butterflies and flowers. Finland has lot of beautiful glassware, but I wanted to have something that will match the season. When I’ve been browsing other photoblogs, I already noticed that cherries are already blossoming in Washington D.C., USA. In a typical day, it will be around end of April, beginning of May, before we will see them in Finland. Until then, I have all my photographs about cherry flowers from earlier years.

Technical details: Canon EOS 20D & Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro (1/200s, f/11, ISO200)
