Pihtsusköngäs Falls (week 33/08)

After we had climbed to top of Halti, we headed south along the Nordkalottleden Trail. One of the reasons for following this trail was that I wanted to see Pihtsusköngäs Falls, which has been praised by many people. Pihtsuköngäs falls starts with small rapids and ends with 17m vertical drop. Vertical drop itself isn’t that special, but when combined with big amount of water in a river, it is quite awesome sight.
Even though I am using narrow hood (EW-84DII), it was slight challenge to capture this waterfall into photograph, because we had drizzling rain and after a while waterdrop started to appear on my ND filter. At the end, I am reasonably happy with the photographs that I was able to take.
