Poon Hill, Nepal (week 12/08)

On the day, when this photograph was taken, we had wake-up call on 4am. 30 minutes later we started a hike towards Poon Hill. Poon Hill is small peak at 3200m above sea level. It is located near all major hiking routes in Annapurna region and in sunrise it offers nice view to surrounding mountains. During this morning, I took quite many photographs, but this almost accidently taken one proved out to be best one. Most of the photographs that I had taken before dawn, had too much motion blur on people. On this photograph however, I had been forced to use pop-up flash to get autofocus lock and when I forgot to push flash down, this photograph was taken with flash, while my other photographs from this morning were taken without flash.
If I would be able to travek back in time, I would put external flash into camera and set FEC to -1 or -2 stops.
