Orange

My first reaction for this week’s challenge (Orange) was take image of Volkswagen Beetle, but I have already published it on this blog. Next idea was to take flower (rose to be more exact), but I am sure we already have plenty of those as well. After I decided to skip flowers, I checked for volcanic activity on Iceland and Azores, but couldn’t find anything inspiring. Next item on agenda was birds, but they didn’t provide any help either. At the end, I decided to go all the way back to year 2001, when I was in Costa Rica and had my first digital camera (Canon digi IXUS (the original one…)). On that vacation, we saw these amazing orange iguanas. This one in my opinion is the best one from those.

I love iguanas – in pictures. So strong and scary animals. It´s easy to see, cause it´s between those green leaves. Good background.
So glad you skipped the roses and went for the iguana. I am finding the combination of green and orange especially pleasing in all the ‘orange’ photos. And there’s so much orange in most of them. This is nicely understated and makes an overall good impression. And the iguana is cute to boot.
