U - Urja

Its once again time for Mrs. Nesbitt’s ABC Wednesday. This week’s letter is U and my choice for U is lake called Urja.
Urja is small lake, which belongs to Karjakaivo recreational area in Espoo, which is part of area, which is commonly referred as Nuuksio. Rock on the other side of the water is place, where you can legally setup fire. It also has nice rock stairs into water, if one wants to go for swim. If you look at it closely, you can spot my red tent among trees.

Photograph was taken at the end of July. At that time of year, water in lake is pretty warm, so I went and had quick evening swim in a lake.
P.S. Link to Nuuksio photo album was appearantly broken for while, but it has been now fixed.

I was waiting for a post about UKK.
Thanks for a good idea. I’ll have to keep that in mind for next round. It would be quite easy to write some sort of post about the man himself, but there are also lot of trails, which are simply marked as UKK trail from point A to point B.
It has always been a wish to visit your country. It looks so peaceful and beautiful!
